I. Project Introduction

EU ERP energy efficiency testing, formally known as Energy‑related Products (ERP) testing, is an energy efficiency evaluation and certification process for energy‑related products based on the EU's ERP Directive (Energy‑related Products Directive). This testing is a regulatory requirement established by the EU to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and protect the environment, ensuring that energy‑related products placed on the EU market meet specified energy efficiency standards throughout their design, manufacturing, and use.
