I. Project Introduction

DOE energy efficiency testing, formally known as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) energy efficiency testing, is an energy efficiency evaluation and certification procedure for specific electronic and electrical products sold in the U.S. market. DOE testing aims to ensure that these products comply with the federal energy efficiency standards set forth in 10 CFR Part 429 and 10 CFR Part 430, thereby promoting energy conservation, reducing emissions, protecting the environment, and helping consumers lower their energy costs.
