2. Mandatory ErP Energy Efficiency Metrics and Test Standards

Standby mode power consumption shall not exceed 0.5 W
Off mode power consumption shall not exceed 0.3 W

Batteries must withstand a minimum of 800 full charge-discharge cycles and retain over 80% of their initial capacity upon completing 800 cycles.
Durability and Reliability
All devices must pass a 1.5 metre free fall test and be assigned a corresponding A to E grade based on test results. Manufacturers are obligated to supply critical spare parts including batteries, screens and camera modules for at least 7 years after the product model is discontinued.
Software Maintenance and Repairability
Manufacturers must deliver a minimum of 5 years of security and system updates from the product launch date. Although a last-minute amendment to the regulation softened mandatory requirements for user self-screen replacement, the binding spare parts supply rule remains fully intact.
